Engagement ring style gives clues on how to propose

A professional wedding expert has suggested that the type of engagement ring you buy for a woman could also give you some clues on the best way to propose.
Sarah Pease, of Proposal-Ideas.com, writes in the Huffington Post, “If your lucky lady has been dropping some serious hints about what kind of engagement ring she wants, it's one of the best ways to begin designing your one-of-a-kind proposal story.”
She adds, “In my work as The Proposal Planner, and after having planned hundreds of dream engagements, I know that the design of the ring she wants reveals a lot about her dream marriage proposal.”
For example, Pease says that although the solitaire engagement ring is a classic, the actual proposal can and should still be unique. She suggests staying away from “trends” and says that national heritage sites or historic locations can be ideal proposal sites for presenting a solitaire engagement ring.
If you are offering a gemstone engagement ring, such as those worn by Princess Diana, Kate Middleton, Halle Berry and Jessica Simpson, Pease suggests brainstorming unique ideas as anything run of the mill, such as dinner out, could disappoint this type of woman.
